What You Sayin’ BAB is a quick fire fact find with the artists we love to cover.

Find out how your faves would act as mayor for a month, their most beloved places to eat, fondest memories growing up around the West Midlands and what we can expect to see from them in 2022 and beyond!

First up, we hear from LANDEL. You can’t miss this guy at the moment and for good reason.

WYS about your fondest memory of Birmingham growing up?

Although I used to be scared of them, I liked the fireworks at Pype-Hayes cause I could watch them from my old house! They don’t do them anymore 🙁

Tell us something that your fans wouldn’t know about you?

I’m a freelance barber and videographer for my job (not at the same time lol)

WYS about your favourite food spot here?

Used to be Earth’s Kitchen, you can’t get food like that anywhere else! Sad to see it go. Now I’d say iGoVegan for them late night munches.

If you had the keys to the city for a month, what would you introduce?

I’d introduce meditation into schools. I think it would help a lot.

👏

What was your first concert attended here?

My first show was I think Kanye West at the NEC, a long time ago.

WYS about the rest of this year, what can we expect from you?

I just wanna raise the bar quality wise. More music, more shows, just with the foot on the gas a little more!

Catch LANDEL playing at The Rainbow Pub this evening with the sensational NeOne the Wonderer and DJ Mystic Meg taking the Pineapple Juice On Ice party into the early hours.
